Your writing journey is both unique and inspiring. Could you share the pivotal moment that ignited your passion for storytelling?

The pivotal moment that ignited my passion for writing about building an online income was when I made my first $100 online through a simple e-commerce side hustle back in 2016. It was a small win, but was very exciting. Seeing those emails that said I sold another product was life changing.

My books, all stem from those early bites of success—and wanting to empower people to turn their ideas into thriving online businesses too.

In your experience, what role does discipline play in the creative process, especially when balancing multiple projects?

Discipline is the backbone of the creative process. For me, it’s like the steady rhythm that keeps the whole operation humming. When I am working on my books, discipline means setting clear schedules and sticking to them. I’d block out specific times for brainstorming, researching, and writing. Without that structure, it’s easy to get lost in the excitement of new ideas or overwhelmed by deadlines. Discipline doesn’t stifle creativity; it channels it.

My tip? Set small, daily goals—like writing 500 words or researching one new strategy—and celebrate those wins. It keeps the momentum going and makes the big projects feel doable!

Your work often delves into complex themes. How do you approach research to ensure authenticity in your narratives?

When it comes to writing about building an online income, authenticity is everything—nobody wants fluff that doesn’t hold up in the real world! My research approach is all about blending hands-on experience with practical digging to ensure my strategies resonate with readers.

I start by testing the methods myself. This gives me a real-world foundation to build from.

Then, I dive into research to back it up. I scour online forums, social media groups, and industry blogs to see what’s working for others in the online income space.

For example, when writing about AI-driven content creation, I learned tools like ChatGPT and Canva myself, then cross-checked with what top creators were sharing online to ensure my tips were practical and up-to-date.

In these days of AI, everything changes very fast, so it is a daily learning experience to stay up-to-date to share the most recent and accurate information.

Collaboration is key in the creative industry. Can you discuss a memorable collaboration and its impact on your work?

Collaboration has been essential in my journey of writing about building an online income.

I connected with a small community of aspiring entrepreneurs through an online forum—people who were just as passionate about creating income streams through digital products, social media, and repurposing public domain content. We shared ideas, tested tactics, and gave each other feedback in real time.

Their input helped me refine the practical steps I was outlining, especially when it came to using AI tools and public domain resources to create things like planners and eBooks.

The publishing landscape is ever-evolving. How do you navigate the challenges and opportunities it presents?

When I started writing about building an online income, self-publishing was fairly new, and now with digital platforms, AI tools, and social media, the possibilities are endless but the competition is fierce.

One big challenge is standing out in a crowded market. To tackle this, I focus on niching down—for unique products. It takes a lot of research of trends on platforms like social media and online forums to see what aspiring entrepreneurs are buzzing about, ensuring my content hits their pain points and feels fresh.

For example, when I saw the rise of AI tools like ChatGPT and SOROS, I jumped on the opportunity to explore how they could transform public domain content into modern digital products, enabling me to expand on my original book about using public domain content to generate income.

I have a new book I am working on detailing just what AI is. So many people feel lost and don’t want to be left behind. With the speed of how good AI is getting it is getting hard to tell what is real and what was created with AI.

The opportunity here is the democratization of publishing—anyone can publish with tools like Amazon KDP, Etsy, and Gumroad which aligns perfectly with my mission to empower people to build their own income streams.

Feedback is crucial for growth. How do you handle constructive criticism, and how has it shaped your writing?

Constructive criticism is like a compass for growth—it points you in the right direction, even if it stings a little at first! I’ve learned to embrace feedback as a tool to make my work more practical and impactful. When I get constructive criticism, whether from readers, beta testers, or online communities, I start by listening closely without taking it personally. I ask myself, “Does this align with my goal of helping people create sustainable income streams?” If it does, I dive into how I can use it to improve.

Your stories resonate deeply with readers. What do you believe is the essence of creating characters that leave a lasting impression?   N/A

In moments of creative block, what strategies do you employ to reignite your inspiration?

Writer’s block does not happen often with me, but when it does, I step away and dive into real-world inspiration. I’ll browse online entrepreneur communities to see what challenges people are facing or what’s trending in the online income space. Pinterest is very helpful to find new inspiration for me.

Finally, I remind myself of my “why”—empowering others to build financial freedom. I’ll reread feedback from readers who turned my strategies into real businesses, and that reignites my drive to keep going.

Looking ahead, what themes or genres are you eager to explore in your future projects?

I’m very excited about where I can take my writing next. The digital landscape is always evolving, and I’m already diving deeper into breaking down AI into easy to understand themes that will empower people to create sustainable income streams.

My goal is to keep educating readers to turn their passions into profitable online ventures, with the same practical, friendly vibe I’ve always aimed for!

For aspiring authors seeking to carve their own path, what advice would you offer to help them navigate their journey?

Most important of all is to pick a topic you’re passionate about and that solves a real problem for your readers. Remember, you will have to maintain interest in the subject to keep coming up with new ideas and following through. Success does not happen overnight (no matter what clickbait you see) so you have to make sure it is something you will not lose interest in.

Finally, stay disciplined but flexible. Set daily writing goals, even if it’s just 200 words, but be ready to pivot if the publishing landscape shifts—new platforms and trends pop up all the time.
