Pavan Pardasani: Hospitality Innovator Leading JKS Restaurants’ Global Expansion Into North America And The Middle East

Transforming Hospitality Through Visionary Leadership

Pavan Pardasani shares his vision for expanding JKS Restaurants globally while preserving authenticity, championing Indian cuisine, and creating meaningful dining experiences in North America and the Middle East.

JKS Restaurants, the renowned London-based hospitality group founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi, has unveiled Pavan Pardasani as the global chief executive officer for its Indian restaurant portfolio. The move signals a bold push toward international expansion, as the company prepares to introduce its celebrated Indian dining concepts to markets across North America and the Middle East.

Known for its iconic restaurants, including Trishna, Gymkhana, Brigadiers, and Ambassadors Clubhouse, JKS Restaurants has entrusted Pardasani with driving the strategic growth of these brands globally while ensuring operational excellence at their flagship London venues. Pardasani’s appointment comes as the group looks to broaden its legacy of elevating Indian cuisine to new global audiences.

A seasoned veteran of the hospitality industry, Pardasani brings over 20 years of expertise, having previously served as chief marketing officer at Tao Group Hospitality, where he led global campaigns and enhanced guest experiences. His success in leadership roles at Hakkasan Group and Catch Hospitality underscores his ability to scale brands while maintaining a focus on quality and innovation.

In his new role, Pardasani will collaborate closely with an expanded leadership team, including Rob Rawleigh as US managing partner, Rick Tomich as US vice-president of marketing, and Laura Irving as UK managing director. Together, the team is gearing up for major launches, including the debut of Ambassadors Clubhouse in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood this fall and Gymkhana at Las Vegas’ Aria Resort & Casino later this year. These openings mark JKS Restaurants’ first foray into the US market.

Commenting on the appointment, Jyotin Sethi, co-founder of JKS Restaurants, shared his excitement: “With his proven expertise in strategic development and operational leadership, Pavan is uniquely qualified to guide this transformative chapter for JKS Restaurants. We are thrilled to welcome him as we continue our mission to showcase the richness of Indian cuisine to an ever-growing international audience.”

For Pardasani, the position represents both a new challenge and a meaningful return to his roots. “Joining JKS Restaurants is a full-circle moment for me,” he said. “I am privileged to lead this exceptional brand and bring the spirit of Indian culture, heritage, and hospitality to new markets. This is a responsibility I am proud to carry forward.”

The company’s financial performance further bolsters its ambitious plans, with a turnover reaching £73.6m for the 65 weeks ending March 2024. As JKS continues to build on its success, the group promises to set new standards for Indian cuisine on the international stage, blending tradition with innovation in every new destination it reaches.
