Berto Pasta Launches Unique Dishes and Experiences

Berto Pasta Emerges with a New Menu Just in Time for World Pasta Day

Berto Pasta launches a new menu with dramatic table-side dishes, celebrating World Pasta Day with 50% off for a week.

Berto Pasta is an authentic artisanal pasta restaurant that, up until now, was considered part of sister restaurant Zia Lucia’s o4ering. Now, Berto Pasta is coming out of its big sister’s shadow and launching a brand-new menu and pasta experience in its original North London home.

This October, just in 1me for World Pasta Day on the 25th October, Berto is launching a menu of new dishes made from their signature hand-cra;ed fresh pasta. And for the week prior to World Pasta Day, Berto will be offering diners 50% off all pasta on the new menu.

Guests can now choose from a new Leggendiare menu, which features dishes finished by the table, adding a touch of drama and performance to the experience. The Smoking Truffle Carbonara, with hand-made maccheroni, creamy egg yolk, goat cheese and truffle is cherry smoked table side, adding a beau1ful dimension to this silky pasta dish. The Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe is prepared live inside the pecorino wheel, while the Fe@ucine Alfredo “Al Tartufo” is tossed decadently with buMer, truffle cream parmesan and truffle oil, tableside.

Another star item on the menu is Berto’s take on the viral pasta phenomenon, the Flaming Maccheroni Alla Vodka, with a vodka-flambeed tomato sauce, Italian pork sausage, Calabrian spicy nduja and pecorino Romano DOP. In addi1on to the pasta, guests can choose from a Burrata bar, a selec1on of moreish friS courgeMe and potato dishes, and delicious an1pas1.

From October, the 45-cover restaurant’s original entrance will be opened up, and once more, Berto’s pasta bar, where diners can watch chefs cra; fresh pasta by hand, will be a central hub for the restaurant. Now separated from Zia Lucia by a curtain, Berto will have the secre1ve air of a speakeasy for pasta lovers.

‘Berto’, much like Zia Lucia is a prominent figure in the lives of restaurant owners Claudio Vescovo and Gianluca D’Angelo. An expert pasta maker, friend and teacher, Piero – or ‘Berto’ as they call him – is both the inspira1on behind the evolvement of the brand and a key figure in the restaurant.
